Captain Shaw’s Star Trek Picard Alternate Death Scene Revealed By Showrunner
Star Trek: Picard season 3 showrunner Terry Matalas recently shared an alternate version of Captain Liam Shaw’s tragic death scene. Shaw, played by Todd Stashwick, became a fan favorite during Picard’s critically acclaimed third season, which saw many of the original cast members from Star Trek: The Next Generation return. Picard season 3 followed Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) as he sought to help his old friend Dr. Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden) and the son he didn’t know he had, Jack Crusher (Ed Speleers). While much of the hype for Picard’s final season was due to the returning TNG cast members, Stashwick’s Captain Shaw became one of the show’s best breakout characters.
