BREAKING!!! Gunmen Attack UNTH, Abduct Deputy Director, One Other

Heavily armed Gunmen have attacked the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku Ozalla, in Enugu State.

The incident which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning sees a female deputy director, nursing services, and a security man were said to have been kidnapped by the bandits.

An SUV allegedly belonging to the abducted woman, a nurse, was seen abandoned, with bullet holes on the passenger side.

The Enugu State Police Command and the Hospital management are yet to confirm the attack.

A source confirmed that the incident occurred at the same location a medical doctor was abducted a few weeks ago.

The source said:

“This is so sad; we are not safe at all in this hospital; everywhere is porous.”
