Back To The Future’s Unused Ending Would Have Totally Ruined George McFly

Although George McFly had one of the best character growths in Back to the Future, some fans may not have realized that the writers were very close to ruining it as the original scripts revealed his arc was going to end in a very bizarre way. Released in 1989 and directed by Robert Zemeckis, Back to The Future followed 17-year-old, Marty McFly, who finds himself transported back to the 1950s after he and his friend, scientist, Doc Brown, begin experimenting with a time machine. While he is in the past, he also witnesses how his mother and father fell in love despite the hometown bully trying to split them up.
