Anika’s Scream VI Ladder Death Is More Brutal When You Realize Who Killed Her

Anika (Devyn Nekoda) may have had the worst death in Scream 6, which is saying a lot because the movie is packed with horrific fatalities. The Scream franchise continues riding the wave of reboots/requels after the success of Scream 2022, and it wasted no time in telling the stories of a new generation of characters in the saga’s sixth installment, simply titled Scream 6 (or officially, Scream VI). Set a year after the 2022 Woodsboro murders, the Scream 6 cast was made up of survivors from the last film, along with legacy characters Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) and Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere), who come across a new Ghostface killer.
