7 Deleted Scream 6 Scenes Explained

With a runtime that’s approximately two hours long, Scream 6 understandably had to delete several scenes from its final cut, some of which would have made significant changes to the movie. Considering the sequel initially had to make some big adjustments to account for the absence of Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott in Scream 6, the 2023 movie has plenty of potential storylines and scenes that never made it into the final version. Scream 6 directors Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin have confirmed several scenes that were close to making it into the film but were ultimately deleted for various reasons, such as time restraints, logistics, emotional impact, and potentially too many hints at Ghostface’s identity.
