10 Weird Things About Spock’s Body
Of all the characters in Star Trek, there is perhaps none more enduring than Mr. Spock), and part of that is thanks to his unique appearance and weirdness of his alien body. The half-Vulcan, half-human Science Officer of the Enterprise has been part of the franchise from the very beginning, the only character to become a series regular after the original pilot of Star Trek: The Original Series, “The Cage.” J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek (2009) features an older Spock (Leonard Nimoy) meeting a younger version of himself (Zachary Quinto) in an alternate timeline. Star Trek‘s return to television in 2017 with Star Trek: Discovery introduces Spock’s adopted sister Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), and in Discovery season 2, Spock also joins the cast, now played by Ethan Peck, who continues his portrayal on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
