Gladiator 2 is finally in the works, and there is much to look forward to. It’s been over 20 years since Russell Crowe wowed audiences as Maximus in the original Gladiator, and it’s taken this long for a sequel to become a reality. Set to release near the end of 2024, the film will bring us back to the Roman Empire in the days when gladiators spilled blood in massive arenas to entertain the crowd. Of course, with Maximus gone and 20 years past in Gladiator‘s timeline, things are bound to look a little different in Gladiator 2, but this is sure to mean several new possibilities.
