10 Great Movies To Watch Before Expendables 4

The Expendables 4 is out Sept. 22, 2023, and it has a typically stacked cast of action heroes, so there are tons of great movies from the stars to check out until the release. The big appeal of the Expendables movies is their unfathomably huge all-star casts, along with the non-stop action. The Sylvester Stallon-directed first Expendables movie in 2010 starred Stallone, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis, and Mickey Rourke — a huge list of several generations of action movie stars. The movie also threw in wrestler Steve Austin for good measure. 2012’s The Expendables 2 added three more action heroes who were surprisingly missing from the first movie; Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
