Several characters should have been killed off in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but Marvel Studios has often backed out despite these deaths perhaps being perfect for the franchise’s storylines. Dozens of interesting characters have been introduced to the MCU since the franchise started with 2008’s Iron Man, and many have seen their stories develop and grow over several years, but Marvel Studios has often been scared to kill off its heroic characters. Several notable characters have lost their lives after becoming superheroes in the MCU, but there are many more who perhaps should have died, only to be spared at the last minute.
