“You’re The Terrorist, You Have Kept Me In Jail For 3 Years” – Nnamdi Kanu Blows Hot In Court

Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja has rejected the request from Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Biafra nation agitators, to reinstate his revoked bail and transfer him from the Department of State Services (DSS) custody to house arrest or prison custody.

The judge noted on Monday that Kanu had previously made the same request, which was dismissed for lack of merit.

In her ruling, Justice Nyako stated that it was established that Kanu had violated the terms of his earlier bail and fled the country.

The Judge also held that the sureties who stood for him in the earlier bail had applied to be discharged and had been discharged on the ground that they could not locate Kanu and did not know his whereabouts.

Justice Nyako said that the only option left for Kanu was to go to the Court of Appeal and exercise his right of appeal.
