A Nigerian mother has stirred controversy on social media as she took drastic action by cutting off her son’s dreadlocks while he was in a deep sleep.

The unsuspecting young man remained oblivious to the unfolding events as he dozed off peacefully.

The incident was documented by his brother, who attempted to intercede with their mother, urging her to spare his sibling’s hair. However, the mother remained steadfast in her decision.

According to her, she had previously warned her son against maintaining that particular hairstyle in her household, leading her to take such extreme measures.

In justifying her actions, the mother questioned whether her son’s hair choice glorified God. She admitted to secretly adding sleeping pills to his food, explaining why she served him a separate meal.
