WELL DESERVED!!!! Rapist Bag Life Imprisonment In Jigawa
A 25-year-old man, Habibu Haruna, has been convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment by Jigawa State High Court No. 6, located in Birnin-Kudu.
Haruna faced charges for luring a 14-year-old girl into his wife’s room in Basirka, Gwaram Local Government Area, where he forcefully assaulted her.
The presiding judge, Justice Musa Ubable, pronounced Haruna guilty, leading to a life imprisonment sentence.
During the hearing, the court considered the testimonies of five witnesses and three exhibits presented by the prosecution counsel to establish the case beyond reasonable doubt.
The sentencing was based on Section 3 Sub-Section 2 and 4 of the Violence Against Persons Prohibition Law, No. 2 Laws of Jigawa State, 2021.
