Tragedy As Gunmen Invade The Home Of Anambra Community Leader, Shoot Him Dead

Silas Onyima, the President-General of Umuoji Community in Anambra State, was tragically killed by unidentified hoodlums, according to reports from The PUNCH.

The incident occurred when about 15 masked men invaded his home on Friday evening, shooting him dead and instilling panic in the community.

Although details of the incident remain unclear, it is known that Onyima, who had recently been elected as the community’s leader, fell victim to the attack.

The state police spokesperson, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident, stating that police operatives have been deployed to the area.

The police are collaborating with eyewitnesses and community members to track down the perpetrators, and investigations are ongoing.
