Tears Flow As Late Akeredolu’s Body Arrives Nigeria From Germany (PHOTOS)
Yesterday, there were tears as the body of late former Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu arrived in Nigeria from Germany, where he passed away on December 26, 2023.
The atmosphere was somber as the Nigerian-flag-draped corpse was brought down from the plane around 3:39 pm.
His family, led by his wife, children, and siblings, along with political allies, received the body at Murtala International Airport in Lagos. Notable figures present included Governors Sanwo-Olu (represented by his Chief of Staff), Abiodun (represented by the Secretary to the State Government), and a representative of Osun State Governor Adeleke.
The remains were taken to the morgue while details for the burial arrangements are yet to be announced by the family.
