SO UNFORTUNATE!!!! Man Commits Suicide In Kano Over His Ex-wife’s Remarriage

In Kano State, a 37-year-old security officer at Prestige International College, located in Gadon Kaya, Gwale Local Government Area, tragically took his own life.

The deceased, identified as Nuradeen Shehu, hanged himself upon learning that his ex-wife had remarried.

According to the State Commissioner of Police, CP Hussaini Gumel, the incident occurred inside one of the college’s classrooms.

On January 28, at around 10:30 a.m., Abdullahi Abdulsalam reported that Nuradeen Shehu, a security guard at the college, was found lifeless after hanging himself with a rope in a classroom.

A police team from Gwale Division, led by the DPO, responded, forcibly unlocking the door, cutting the rope, and rushing the body to Murtala Mohammed General Hospital.

A medical doctor confirmed his death, and the body was subsequently released to the deceased’s family for burial.

CP Gumel emphasized that the police would conduct a thorough investigation to determine the motives behind this tragic incident.
