SO TRAGIC!!! Abuja Secondary School Student Stabbed To Death

A tragic incident occurred in Kubwa town, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as a secondary school student named Salma Yunusa was stabbed to death by her co-tenant, Immaculate Chukwudi, in the Byazhin area where she lived with her elder sister, Bilikisu Yunusa.

According to reports from Daily Trust, the altercation began when the suspect, Chukwudi, and another male tenant known as Pastor had an argument, leading Bilikisu to intervene.

Unfortunately, the situation escalated, and when Salma tried to intervene, she was stabbed by Chukwudi.

Bilikisu recounted the incident, explaining that it started with a disagreement over laundry. The next morning, Chukwudi spat on the water Bilikisu was fetching, and when Salma tried to clean it up, Chukwudi emptied a bucket of water on her.

As Salma wiped her face, Chukwudi stabbed her in the chest with a knife.

Salma was rushed to Kubwa General Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. The authorities were notified, and Chukwudi was promptly apprehended.

The deceased was laid to rest in her hometown of Ajagwumu in Dekina LGA, Kogi State. The FCT police command confirmed the incident, and an ongoing investigation is underway, with Chukwudi expected to appear in court soon.
