Gunmen suspected to be bandits launched a terror attack on Nahuche community in Zamfara State’s Bungudu Local Government Area, resulting in the death of seven locals and the abduction of several individuals.

As narrated by a community source named Tasiu Nahuche, the assailants struck the village during the early hours of Wednesday while residents were asleep, initiating a circle of gunfire.

Nahuche described the chaos that occurred, stating,

“We were running helter-skelter to save our lives. Nobody can exactly say the number of people abducted.”

Efforts to obtain a response from the State police spokesman, Yazid Abdulahi, remained unsuccessful at the time of this report.
