SO SAD!!!! Tragedy As Three Church Members Perish In Ekiti Auto Crash
A tragic accident claimed the lives of three members of St Mark Anglican Church, Ise Ekiti, Ekiti State, while several others sustained injuries during a journey to Ado-Ekiti for a program.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, January 28, 2024, about 6km away from Ise Ekiti township between Afolu and Obada village on Ise-Ikere Road.
The accident resulted from a burst tyre, causing the driver to lose control, and the vehicle somersaulted multiple times.
The chairman of Ise/Orun Local Government Area, Bamikole Ayodele, expressed deep shock and sadness, offering heartfelt condolences to the affected families and the church.
He prayed for God’s consolation and strength for the grieving families and encouraged the community to accept the will of God.
