SO SAD!!! Gunmen Kill Herder And His 35 Cows In Plateau

Unknown gunmen have carried out a deadly attack in Nafan community and Doruwa Babuje in Plateau State, resulting in the tragic death of a 17-year-old herder and the loss of 35 cows.

Reports indicate that the attackers, riding on motorcycles, opened fire during the assault, killing the young herder and causing severe injuries to another.

Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has strongly condemned the incident, urging relevant security agencies to swiftly apprehend the perpetrators.

In a statement issued by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Mr. Gyang Bere, Governor Mutfwang emphasized that his administration will not tolerate any form of lawlessness or violence against innocent citizens.

The governor vowed to ensure justice for the victims by directing security agencies to pursue and apprehend those responsible for the heinous crimes.

He called on traditional, community, and religious leaders, as well as youth and women groups in the affected areas, to collaborate with stakeholders to restore peace and normalcy.

Expressing sympathy to the affected families, Governor Mutfwang urged residents to cooperate with authorities in identifying and apprehending criminal elements within their communities, emphasizing the importance of upholding the rule of law and protecting the lives and livelihoods of all citizens.
