SO SAD!!! 30-year-old Nekede Polytechnic Graduate Commits Suicide
A 30-year-old graduate of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, identified as Nerus Elemamba, has tragically taken his own life by hanging in his room in Umuohii, Obaoma community, Ezinihitte-Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
According to a source, the incident occurred on Monday evening immediately after Elemamba participated in the village’s manual labor alongside his peers. Despite actively engaging in village activities and sharing jokes with others, he unexpectedly hung himself.
A source in the village stated that Elemamba did not display any signs of depression before the incident. The village is now in shock and confusion, with the cause of his death needing clarification before funeral arrangements can be made.
Imo police spokesperson, Henry Okoye, mentioned that he has yet to be briefed on the development when contacted.
