Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote has revealed that even though he comes from a rich family, he did not inherit a penny from their wealth.
The billionaire businessman recently surpassed Johann Rupert from South Africa to become Africa’s richest man.
He admitted in a recent interview how his great grandfather was the richest man in West Africa in the 1940s.
His grandfather was also rich and even his own father was a rich businessman who combined his business and politics.
Dangote, recalls with pride how he didn’t collect any money from them and still built the empire he has from scratch.
Although he confesses that his father left him a tangible amount in his will, he donated it to charity.
