Police Arrest Most Wanted Suspected Notorious Traffic Robber In Lagos

A suspected traffic robber, Olawale Odunsi, operating in the Ijora Badia area of Lagos state, has been apprehended.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the state police command, confirmed the arrest, stating that the police had been pursuing him for the past six months.

The Ijora Badia Division operatives gathered actionable intelligence about the activities of the 18-year-old suspect before successfully arresting him.

The suspect is alleged to have been involved in numerous traffic robberies in the Iganmu and Ijora under Bridge areas and their surroundings.

In a revelation made by SP Benjamin Hundeyin which says;

“Many victims of the suspect described him as a deadly attacker with his dreadlocks. He evaded arrest several times in the past.”

“Fortunately, on Tuesday, at about 3.30 p.m., acting on an Intel gathered that the suspect and his terror gang members were about to operate at Iganmu under bridge.”

“Operatives from Ijora Badia Division were quickly mobilised to the scene and the suspect was arrested while coming out from his criminal hideout.”

“His gang members escaped from the scene. The suspect was taken to the station, where he confessed to the crime. Investigation is ongoing.”
