Pep Guardiola Responds To Haaland’s Transfer Rumours To Real Madrid

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola responded to reports linking Erling Haaland with a move to Real Madrid.

Pep Guardiola dismissed the speculation, stating that Haaland’s recent absence from play due to injury should not be misinterpreted as dissatisfaction with the club.

Guardiola emphasized that they cannot control media speculation and mentioned that Haaland has shown a high level of performance since arriving at Manchester City.

He added that if Haaland is unhappy, he will make his decision.

In his words,

“You have to ask the media from Madrid, maybe they have more information than we have. We don’t have that feeling.”

“He could not play for two months because he was injured, but maybe the media from Spain, and especially Madrid, have more information than us.”

“We cannot say he didn’t adapt quickly and he was not fine since he arrived”.

He also added saying;

“It’s the level he showed since he arrived on day one.

“We cannot control what people say. When he (Haaland) is unhappy, he will take his decision.”
