Ondo 2020: Rotimi Akeredolu Re-Elected As Ondo State Governor

Rotimi Akeredolu who is the governor for Ondo State has gotten a second term to remain in power shortly after an election was held.

He became the winner after beating  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s Eyitayo Jegede and his deputy, Agboola Ajayi who were both contestants.

Rotimi became the winner after the electoral commission, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) named the votes.

Akeredolu had 292,830 votes while Jegede polled 195,791 and Ajayi scored 69,127 votes.

The newly voted governor could not hide his joy as he took to his Twitter page to celebrate the victory.
