NICE WORK!!!! Five Suspected Kidnappers Claiming To Be Fulani Herdsmen Apprehended In Ekiti (PHOTOS)
Today, January 31, police operatives, in collaboration with NSCDC, Amotekun, O.P.C, and local hunters, conducted a bush combing operation from Oke-Osun, Ikere/Igbo-Okah to the dense forest around Iju/Ikere boundary to root out kidnappers in the state.
During the operation, five suspected kidnappers—Usman Jelili, Mohammed Bande, Abubakar Aliu, Isah Abdullahi, and Suleiman Abdullahi—were apprehended.
Despite claiming to be herdsmen during interrogation, it was revealed that none of them had cattle in the forest where they were caught.
Confirming the arrest to the press, the command’s spokesperson, DSP Abutu Sunday, disclosed that items seized from the suspects included two motorcycles, one cutlass, one jackknife/dagger, and four phones.
