The Defence Headquarters announced significant achievements by the armed forces in the past week.

They reported neutralizing 253 terrorists, capturing 172 suspects, and rescuing 206 hostages.

Additionally, troops apprehended 15 individuals involved in oil theft, preventing the loss of an estimated N1.07 billion in the Niger Delta.

Recovered items included a variety of weapons, ammunition, and stolen goods such as weapons, ammunition, vehicles, motorcycles, and cash.

In the Niger Delta region, troops discovered and destroyed numerous illegal facilities and confiscated millions of liters of stolen crude oil and illegally refined products.

These operations reflect the military’s ongoing efforts to maintain national security and stability, urging citizens to support rather than undermine their efforts.
