NICE MOVE!!!! Police Arrest Officers For Extorting N29m From Abuja Businessman

The National Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has confirmed the arrest of officers involved in extorting N29.9 million from a businessman in Abuja.

In a video shared by an individual on January 25, 2024, it was narrated how armed policemen abducted the businessman while he was en route to one of his sites in Abuja.

The officers reportedly checked the victim’s mobile phones and detained him until he transferred all the money in his bank account to them.

Responding to the post, the FCT police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, requested the victim to come forward with evidence of transactions for necessary action.

Providing an update on the incident, Olumuyiwa Adejobi mentioned that some suspects have been arrested, and investigations are still ongoing.

He assured that justice will be served, stating,

“We are making headway on this matter, and justice will be served, as some suspects have been arrested. Hakuna matata.”
