NAFDAC Uncover Illegal Activities Of Fake Cosmetics Producer In Lagos
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC has exposed the illegal activities of a fake cosmetics producer at Balogun Trade Fair Gate, Trade Fair Complex, Lagos State.
A statement released by the agency on Monday, April 22, says that Mr. Pius Effiong Eyoh, the owner of Pasco Global Limited, was arrested for producing, packaging, distributing, and selling fake and counterfeit cosmetic products.
Items include Skin Balance Perfect Knuckle Organic Peel Therapy, Golden Face Triple Action Concentrated Perfect Skin and Skin Free Cream, amongst others.
The statement reads:
“Eyoh was caught in the act of processing and packaging these cosmetic products with false labels bearing French inscriptions and a Cameroonian address, aiming to deceive unsuspecting consumers into believing they were imported.”
