Zack Snyder’s plans for an unlikely 300 sequel have gotten a positive update from the director after Warner Bros. originally passed on his script. Based on the comic book of the same name by Frank Miller and Lynn Varley, 2007’s 300 served as Snyder’s second feature movie after his 2004 directorial debut on the Dawn of the Dead reboot. A highly stylized and bloodthirsty reimagining of the Battle of Thermopylae, 300 would later inspire the 2014 sequel 300: Rise of an Empire directed by Noam Murro.
