Woody Returning For Toy Story 5 Spells Disaster For Buzz Lightyear

Although Toy Story 5 is in the early stages of development, it has already been confirmed to see the return of Woody, despite the ending of Toy Story 4, which spells disaster for Buzz Lightyear. Toy Story is Pixar’s most popular and profitable franchise, and though it seemed to have finally come to an end with its fourth movie, the franchise will continue to expand with a fifth movie. Toy Story 5 was announced to happen in February 2023, with Tim Allen confirming his return as the voice of Buzz Lightyear and Pete Docter confirming in June 2023 that Woody will also return for this new adventure.
