Why The DCEU & Arrowverse Didn’t Combine (Despite The Crisis Crossover)

The DCEU and the Arrowverse never combined despite crossing over thanks to Crisis on Infinite Earths, and there are a few reasons that explain why the two universes never merged. Both shared DC universes were created around the same time, with the first of the DCEU movie releases being 2013’s Man of Steel, which came roughly eight months after the Arrowverse started with Stephen Amell’s Arrow in 2012. The universes would continue to co-exist without crossing over for several years until 2020’s “Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Four” saw the two universes come together.
