While not many of the MCU’s Avengers were strong enough to wield the Infinity Gauntlet in the MCU, there is one candidate that certainly could have had it not been for one crucial pitfall. The real Infinity Gauntlet was first seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron’s mid-credits scene, teasing Thanos’ mission to collect the Infinity Stones. Avengers: Infinity War explored this conquest as Thanos gathered the stones and wiped out half the population of the universe. The use of the Infinity Gauntlet may have taken its toll on Thanos, but one Avenger perhaps could have safely used the glove.
