Why Quentin Was So Special In The Magicians

The fantasy series The Magicians showcased a cast of characters that were all distinct, impressive, and magical in their own right, however, there was one character, Quentin, that seemed to get more attention than the others. The Magicians first began in 2015, and ran for five seasons on Syfy. Based on a series of novels by Lev Grossman, the story follows Quentin Coldwater, a 20-something, who discovers that the magical world he read about as a child is real, and moreover, that he can attend school there.
