Why No One Can Remember What Happened In Alice In Borderland

Alice in Borderland season 2’s ending provides concrete answers to several overarching mysteries but does reveal why no one remembers what happened in the Borderland. Set in an alternate post-apocalyptic Tokyo, Alice in Borderland is based on Haro Aso’s manga of the same name. Although the Netflix live-action adaptation takes a few creative liberties in its first two seasons, it stays true to most primary narrative elements and character beats from Haro Aso’s Alice in Borderland manga. In its two-season runtime, it adapts all the major story arcs from the original manga and, like the manga, leaves several story elements to the viewers’ imagination.
