Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon is the beginning of a massive new sci-fi fantasy universe and Netflix would be smart to consider making it their first big theatrical release. Netflix’s biggest movies typically get a small theatrical release only big enough to satisfy the standards necessary to earn Academy Award nominations, but that kind of limited release makes earning a big box office haul virtually impossible, and Netflix has a massive opportunity to make a big box office splash with Rebel Moon in December.
