Fans of the iconic education computer game The Oregon Trail might be interested to learn that a horror film called Organ Trail, which seemingly capitalizes on the game’s nostalgia, is now available to watch. The original video game was conceived to teach middle school students about the history of 19th-century pioneer life on the Oregon Trail, the 2,170-mile trail that began in Missouri and ended in Oregon (hence its name). Emigrants would travel the route via wagon in the mid-1800s and encounter many dangers, like starvation, dysentery, snakebites, measles, and more, which are all depicted in the computer game.
