Where TLOU 2 Remastered’s Lost Levels Fit Into The Story

Roughly three-and-a-half years after the initial release, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is coming to PlayStation 5 in January 2024. Rumors of the remaster stirred the same concerns as The Last of Us Part 1 did when it was announced – qualms over such a recent game even needing a full-priced remaster – but the official announcement of TLOU 2 Remastered has seemingly quieted such worries. The Last of Us 2 Remastered will come with a host of new content, including what developer Naughty Dog has dubbed the Lost Levels, three gameplay segments that were cut from the final game.
