"We All Knew We Hadn’t Finished": Netflix Marvel Director Celebrates Daredevil & Punisher’s MCU Returns

After helping usher the two characters into the franchise, director Marc Jobst is celebrating the Marvel Cinematic Universe returns of Daredevil and The Punisher. Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal made their respective MCU debuts in Netflix’s Daredevil, with the latter getting his own spinoff show, though would see their future left unsure when the streamer’s contract with Marvel came to an end. Cox would finally return in Spider-Man: No Way Home, followed by appearances in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and set to lead Daredevil: Born Again, in which Bernthal will also return.
