Walking Dead Spinoffs Are Solving A Character Problem The Main Show Never Overcame

After 11 seasons, The Walking Dead still left questions and character storylines unresolved, something the spinoff shows have the chance to address. With The Walking Dead: Dead City’s first season concluded and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon scheduled for next month, the franchise is continuing the stories of the most prominent survivors in the main show. Alongside this, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) will return alongside Michonne (Danai Gurira) in their own spinoff in 2024. With three new shows all taking place within a year of one another, there is a clear opportunity to address some of the character problems the main series failed to resolve.
