Unused Spider-Verse Villain Designs Prove 1 Deleted Scene Was A Mistake
An unused villain design for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse proved that the film’s cut villain scenes should have been left as part of the film. Initially, the first act of the Into the Spider-Verse sequel included a scene where Spot, the film’s villain, entered Marvel Comics’ The Bar With No Name. A safe haven for villains looking to relax between terrorizing New York City, Spot would have been bullied out of the bar by other Spider-Man villains before returning in Across the Spider-Verse‘s cut post-credit scene to exact his revenge with his newfound powers.
