Unmade Transformers Prequel Would Have Set Up A G.I. Joe Crossover 8 Years Earlier

8 years before Transformers: Rise of the Beasts hinted at a potential crossover between G.I. Joe and Transformers, a canceled Transformers prequel film created the perfect setup for it to happen. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts unfolds in the year 1994 on Earth, where a former military electronic engineer, Noah Diaz, struggles to stay afloat. However, his life turns upside down when while stealing a car, he finds an Autobot named Mirage. As Mirage gets him involved in the Autobots’ plan for acquiring the Transwarp key, Noah finds himself on a globetrotting adventure that, unbeknownst to him, opens a floodgate of future opportunities.
