Universal Orlando Resort has been providing thrill-seeking guests with a unique Halloween experience since the 90s, but the theme park has come a long way since its initial Halloween Horror Nights conception. A year after the park opened, Universal Orlando introduced “Fright Nights,” which featured a single haunted house called The Dungeon of Terror and encouraged the scare actors to craft their own costumes. Over the years, the tourist destination has greatly expanded its horror-themed attraction by building lore behind its original characters while also getting licenses to some of the most popular horror franchises ever. And 2023 is no exception.
