Trick ‘r Treat 2 Director Shares Exciting Update 16 Years After Original Release

The director of Trick ‘r Treat 2 gives an update on the sequel 16 years after the first film’s release. Long before taking on the task of helming the blockbuster Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Michael Dougherty made his directorial debut with a 2007 anthology-style horror movie unified by a masked villain named Sam, and starring the likes of Brian Cox, Dylan Baker and Anna Paquin. Though the film didn’t get a theatrical release, it did go on to receive critical acclaim, becoming a cult favorite while launching its director on to much bigger and better things.
