There’s one reason why Ahsoka has been able to avoid a mistake made in Obi-Wan Kenobi. Both series have been filmed using technology named the Volume, a 360-degree LED screen stage complete with a ceiling to match. First used for The Mandalorian, this revolutionary technology still has its limitations. This was often the case for Obi-Wan Kenobi, with scenes such as those on Jabiim making what was meant to be an outdoor location look extremely boxed in. With Ahsoka also using the Volume, it was possible for this mistake to happen again, but there’s a reason why it was avoided.
