The character of Thanos in the MCU had one major change from his Marvel Comics counterpart, a change that could set a roadmap for future Marvel movie villains. Thanos was first introduced in live-action in 2012’s The Avengers as a Mad Titan hellbent on conquering Earth for unknown motives. As his character was teased more throughout the Infinity Saga, it became clear exactly what Thanos was planning.
