The MCU doesn’t shy away from death, which is great for upping the stakes, but there is one MCU death trend that The Marvels will hopefully break. As the next MCU Phase 5 installment, The Marvels will see Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan team up for the first time as they navigate their similar light-based powers and space-swapping shenanigans. Beyond that, it certainly doesn’t seem like The Marvels will bring death itself to anyone’s arc – but it does look like it will comprise the perfect set-up, instead.
