The Lord of The Rings: 9 Frodo Baggins Book Mannerisms That Elijah Wood Didn’t Nail

Elijah Wood missed some key Frodo Baggins mannerisms during his performance in Peter Jackson’s film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Wood portrayed the Hobbit in all three of the franchise films from his greeting of Gandalf on Bilbo’s birthday to the Ring’s destruction in Mount Doom. He even went on to have a cameo in the later Hobbit trilogy. Being the cousin of, and adopted heir to, Bilbo Baggins, Frodo had a lot to live up to, as did Elijah Wood.
