Taking place in the same world as the classic 1973 film The Exorcist, The Exorcist: Believer tells the story of two girls – Angela and Katherine – whose families enlist intervention from a priest after they appear to show signs of possession. The movie is directed by David Gordon Green, who brought audiences the modern day adaptation of Halloween in 2018, followed by its sequels Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends. The Exorcist: Believer release date is slated for an October 6.
