One specific moment in the opening scenes of Reacher proved that the Amazon Prime series was exactly the adaptation fans had desired for 25 years. The first Jack Reacher novel, The Killing Floor, was released in 1997 with the series since consisting of 29 installments. Given the popularity of Lee Child’s books, three adaptations of the character have been made of late. The first two were film adaptations starring Tom Cruise, while the third – and most recent – is an Amazon Prime show starring Alan Ritchson that is soon to return for Reacher season 2.
