The Conners’ Family Tree Explained

Although Roseanne’s original heroine might not be around anymore, The Conners are still a pretty sizable sitcom family. The Conners began as Roseanne, a successful sitcom about a working-class family that ran for nine seasons in the ’90s. Roseanne was revived in 2017 to critical success and massive ratings, but the show soon lost its title character when star Roseanne Barr went on a racist Twitter tirade. Barr was fired and Roseanne was promptly killed off, resulting in the network retooling Roseanne’s revival into The Conners.
